Where this house is located at Lluena’s outskirts - an odd residential area in Alt Empordà - there are some woods getting through the plot and surroundings. The house convinces you as it was there ever.
That’s because the design simply results from the addition of different height volumes in stone and render surfaces and tiled roofs, as a neighbourhood; totally integrated in the Empordà environment.
One porch under a roof and another under the ivy are shading the south faced terrace looking to the best sights in our site.
The inner layout that is arranged in day-night areas , also attends to the site by getting addapted to the natural slope so avoiding overhigh rooms.
We carefully chose sustainable, recovered and natural materials: wood for beams and woodwork, cork isolation for façades and roofs; and recovered elements as the old tiles and the clay pieces for all the pavements in the house.
