In a plot of land located at the top of the village and with great views of Montserrat and La Mola, we built this house challenging the big slope and the uneven land. The house is used as a filter between the public area and the private garden, which faces south and is only accessible through the house.
The ground floor is the part in contact with the land, divided into 2 parts. The right-hand side of the building (night area made of one level) relates to its surroundings and is protected by stone walls. On the left-hand side (day area made of three levels) a parking space is being created taking advantage of the land slot; a floor on the same level as the patio where the day area is located; and, a studio on the top floor to enjoy the views. The materials used on the façade, built in white brick and black stone, conjugate leading to a folding and, at some point, a flying sensation. The swimming pool, finished in wood, matches the facade?s colour composition.
